About Claire
Claire Salter is our lead trainer. She currently works at the University of Sussex and Brighton University as a dyslexia support tutor. She travels throughout Britain delivering training and completing work based assessments. Claire has eighteen years experience of working as a language, literacy and dyslexia teacher specialising in working with adults and young people from pre-entry to degree level. She also worked for many years as a Support Service manager in a large further education college.
Claire is committed to enabling people to maximise their full abilities. She is passionate about developing awareness of the difficulties and barriers which may be faced by people with dyslexia and how these may be addressed using strategies, equipment and reasonable adjustments. She also offers dyslexia assessments to identify strengths and areas of difficulty and to make recommendations to allow people to unlock their full potential.
